If I am being honest with you and myself, I will admit that I am, in fact, a furry. I have purchased a few tails in the past, a beautiful long-haired black and white tail that goes a little past my knees, and an orange and white fox tail that has a tendency to shed when I wear it. But I recently purchased a tail that happens to be one of my new favorites and inspired me to write this guide.
What I love about it: The color is beautiful and blends together very well. The fur is all about the same length that keeps it from looking ragged. I love that this tail has fur that doesn't shed when it's pet or when it rubs up against something. The fur is extremely soft to the touch quite possibly softer than any tail I have ever had. There are a lot of things that make this a great tail butt plug but one of the most important is how it moves when I wear it; it sways naturally when I walk and isn't too stiff. The extra length of it helps out with this as it comes down the back of my legs and isn't too short.
Another important detail to review of this tail is the size of the actual butt plug and the material. When I go shopping for tails I tend to go with small metal plugs, as the more circular shape allows them to stay in better through all of the moving I do without all the extra size. Whereas when I buy a silicone plug tail they seem to have a much larger plug that holds them in. While this plug is silicone, it's not too big for me. The size is perfect, the shape of the actual plug is a bit different from a plug used for anal training and play, as it is meant to stay in over a long period of time. Before trying this plug I thought I would only really enjoy the metal plug because they are smaller but I changed my mind. I now prefer this style of plug for my tails as it feels and looks wonderful.
If you are new to wearing tails and don't know where to start when shopping for them, here are some things I would recommend you consider:
The Size of the Plug:
If you have never done any anal stretching or aren't interested in a little pain, you should go with plugs that are on the small size but have a nice round shape so they don't slide out.
The Length of the Tail:
Most people prefer a nice long fluffy tail because it is so much more ascetically pleasing than a short one with only a small amount of fur. Make sure you find one with a length and color that suits you.
The Length of the Fur:
Nice and long fur is always ideal because of how it moves and looks. I like it is so much softer than short fur.
And Last but not Least, the Quality:
It's important that you find a tail that will last and, unlike my fox, a tail that won't shed. Make sure you buy your tail from a known retailer such as Lovedreamer or another well-known store you can trust.
Now I bought this tail because as I said before, I am a furry, but you don't have to be a furry to love wearing a anal plug tail. They are super fun to wear during role plays or even just to spice things up. If you are interested in buying a tail and trying it out, I would definitely recommend following this guide. Remember that it's important to find a good quality one with a lot of fur, nice shape, and great movement.
