I've had bullets before (who hasn't?) but they almost always die after a few uses, or are just too weak to be effective, so I've generally avoided them the last few years and opted for bigger, more expensive toys. Recently, though, I decided I wanted a discreet little toy that could travel well and be super effective without waking anyone up, because no one needs to know. Except for everyone who stumbles upon this review, apparently.
Enter Spark. It's a great name for such a tiny, fiery little toy. Ultimately, I chose this bullet because it has 10 functions, which was something I hadn't even considered when I started my search.
My main criteria (other than tiny with vibrations that'll rock my world) was waterproof, and coated in something soft, ideally silicone. It's really rare that you find something that meets every one of your criteria, let alone has a feature you never considered.
Allow me to explain the magic that is the ten functions. It starts off basic- a constant vibration that's low intensity, then a medium, then a high. Next is a pulse, then a sort of buzz buzzz buzzzz- yeah, it's impossible to put into words especially since what comes out of my mouth every time I use it is unintelligible. Each of the 10 unique functions is accessible with a teeny push button on the end, which can occasionally get bumped, but happily it doesn't turn it off until you've reached the end of all ten glorious modes.
I tend to avoid submerging toys as a general rule, and I haven't with this one, but I've had it under running water to clean it numerous times with no ill effects. The silicone is soft to the touch, and very comfortable against skin.
I've had it for a few months now and have never needed to replace the batteries with the second set that came free with the toy (another perk!), which already puts it above and beyond all other bullets I've owned. However, a toy this small has a very simple set up inside, and sometimes I need to open slightly and close it tightly to ensure the battery's connection is snug.
Spark's size is purse friendly- and panty-perfect. You can totes ‘tote’ it around with you *wink* all day and no one would be the wiser. Or you know, tap the button and make your partner wise up, with a mischievous grin, and a bit of buzz buzz, and a saucy little wiggle, and see where that takes you. Not that I'd ever do- yeah, no, you wouldn't believe me anyway.
