The Magic wand may have just changed my life.
How have I not tried this thing on myself after so many years of using them with women?!
Let me backtrack. The Original Magic wand has been around for some time, since 1968 in fact but back then it was called the Hitachi Magic wand.

But in 2013 the company broke branding with the small wonder and it's been renamed the "Original Magic Wand" and is now distributed by Vibratex. It escaped the anti vibrator laws in more conservative states because of it's size and shape was deemed not to be phallic enough to be a sex toy.
Featured on Sex in the City during an episode in 2002, the wand instantly sold out across America, launching it back into the spotlight.
Not that you could have missed it though.
The Wand is not a small portable pocket rocket- it's the giant engines and fuselage that a pocket rocket might use as boosters to get it into space. It's big , its powerful and not the most quiet toy out there.
Originally designed to be a back and neck massager, the wand was designed with reach and leverage in mind. At 12 inches long and weighing just under a pound and a half it's no shrinking violet of a machine. It plugs into a standard wall socket so it won't run out of juice unless there's a blackout. The curse and benefit of the wand is its simplicity. It has few moving parts and just one switch with three settings: Off, low (5000rpm- 83Hz) and high (6000rpm- 100Hz). Calling it low and high seems like an injustice though because really the settings should be high and hold on to something. It really does have that much power.
The amplitude of both settings is about the same, meaning that there is equal power in both. Just the second setting is a faster vibration and the first is a slower but equally strong rumble.
Although it was designed as a neck and back massager, not many people have ever used it for either. The toy most often suggested for treatment of anorgasmia (the inability to orgasm) by sex therapists, the success of the magic wand is difficult to deny. The large 2.5inch in diameter surface area of t
he head sends shockwaves of deep penetrating vibration into the entire structure of the vulva, not just into the clitoral glans but the entire superstructure as well. There are very few toys that have that kind of power.
Some people have complained that the two settings are both so powerful that the toy can be overwhelming but other who might find some toys lacking in the power department have come to love this machine. It is easily one of the most lauded, awarded and recognized toys in the industry and is recommended by more professionals than any other.
And now to where I almost went blind.
In recent years, the magic wand has only gained in popularity despite other more advanced toys coming to the market. Part of this is it's unbeatable power for the price and the other is it's ubiquitous nature. But it has it's short comings for some and other manufacturers have stepped up to fill that gap. Now to fill the gap that the magic wand steadfastily refuses to change to fill, companies like Wand Essentials are making attachment and accessories for the magic wand to alter and dare I say improve the experience. The Rubberized head of the hitachi is difficult to wash as the toy itself is not waterproof but now you can over the end of the wand with a silicone cap with textures and added softness.

There is also a great many attachments now that allow the once external only device to be used internally and that makes it one of the most powerful internal devices and excellent for waking up the G-Spot with great success for many Wand lovers. The great thing about these attachments is that they slip off after use and can be cleaned easily.
And wondrously there are now attachments for men.
And they ARE wondrous. Like seriously really really good. A simple tube attached to the dome of the magic wand and hold on to something cause it's launch time. I can honestly say I wasn't actually expecting It to be that good. But oh man oh man. It was almost TOO good. A bit of lube on my erection and a bit inside the attachment and the studded silicone corridor slipped very snuggly over my penis. I wasn't sure if it was too snug as I'm used to using masturbators that allow you some movement but this almost just lets you insert and then not move at all. Once on the effect was immediate. The wand delivered vibration in a way I haven't felt before, right into my pelvis and through my testicles. I kept it on low for a while not sure I could take more than that. I'll definietly be adding the wand essential speed controller to the line up to give me more accurate control of the wands intensity and frequency speed.
But wow was this a different kind of good.
It was so intense that I had to pause a couple times catch my breath and when my orgasm came on I had to remember to breath. Seriously, this might be the best $30 I have ever spent on a toy accessory.
Honestly I can't say anything better about this other than that this toy which I have always considered a toy for women is one of the best toys for men I have ever used and I will continue to use it.
Magic Wand, you have converted me.
